Modia Consulting were appointed by the private clients to provide full pre and post contract quantity surveying services for a high quality residential extension in Dartmouth Square in Ranelagh, Dublin 6. The service provided for the production of a fully detailed budget document which helped inform design decisions throughout the final stages of the design process. A full Bill of quantities was produced which was then used as a contract document to value changes and interim payments. There were a number of specialist packages included in the contract as PC Sums and these were tendered and controlled by Modia Consulting.

Project Details: Demolition of the existing extension and construction of a new concrete framed extension part wrapped in bronze coloured stainless steel cladding The dwelling was then completely renovated with some very innovative and bespoke built in fittings, kitchen and stairs. The dwelling extended to an overall floor area of c.3,000sq.ft
