Modia Consulting were appointed to produce a bill of quantities to facilitate tendering of a new extension to the existing cafe in Killiney Hill Park. The service included for seeking quotations from specialist M&E contractors as well as other specialist sub contractors along with issuing cash flows and reporting on cost changes. The service included for programme reviews and the submission of payment applications to the project design team. Modia Consulting also carried out a risk evaluation associated with the works as the project was in the middle of a live working environment and the tender costs needed to reflect these unique circumstances.

Project Details: The project consisted of an extension to the existing protected tower which was operating as a cafe. The steel framed extension was build on poor ground resulting in the requirement for careful excavation and structural works.
