Modia Consulting were appointed by the private clients to provide full pre and post contract quantity surveying services for a high quality dwelling in Fonthill Park in Rathfarnham, Dublin 14. The service provided for the production of a fully detailed budget document which helped inform design decisions throughout the final stages of the design process. A full Bill of quantities was produced which was then used as a contract document to value changes and interim payments. There were a number of specialist packages included in the contract as PC Sums and these were tendered and controlled by Modia Consulting.

Project Details: The project consisted of a first floor extension and re-organisation of part of the existing first floor layout. The design allowed for open atriums and double height space and while the footprint of the project was small the design was innovative and attention to detail important.
