Modia Consulting were appointed by Finglas Credit Union to provide specialist liquidation and bond negotiation advice as part of full pre and post contract quantity surveying services for the extension and refurbishment of Finglas Credit Union. The original service provided was amended when the contractor in charge went into liquidation. Modia Consulting were tasked with protecting the Credit Unions interest my minimising costs and retendering the project as quickly as possible.

Project Details: The project consisted of extension and refurbishment of Finglas Credit Union. The works were carried out while the credit union remained live. During the contract the contractor entered liquidation and in conjunction with the bond company, a replacement contractor was appointed to complete the project. Disruption to the works was minimised during negotiations with the replacement contractor and the project was completed on budget.
