Modia Consulting were appointed to produce a bill of quantities for estimating purposes. As part of this service a site visit was required in order to accurately access the tendering conditions. Due to the nature of the works a construction programme was required in order to assess the preliminaries properly. A full Bill of quantities was produced which was then used as a contract document to value changes and interim payments. There were a number of specialist packages included in the contract as PC Sums and these were tendered and controlled by Modia Consulting.

Project Details: The project consisted of the careful extension, to three sides, of the existing production line in a busy Industrial setting on behalf of Athy International Concentrates. The building were constructed using a steel portal frame in-filled with Kingspan insulated panels. The overall size of the project was 3,200sq.ft..
