Modia Consulting were appointed by the private clients to provide full pre and post contract quantity surveying services for a high quality mixed use development on the site of the old Chartbusters in Stillorgan, Dublin 4. The service provided for the production of a fully detailed budget document which helped inform design decisions throughout the final stages of the design process. A full Bill of quantities was produced which was then used as a contract document to value changes and interim payments. There were a number of specialist packages included in the contract as PC Sums and these were tendered and controlled by Modia Consulting.

Project Details: The project consisted of the demolition of the existing building and the construction of a new infill shell and core restaurant development with new apartment to the rear. The site was long and narrow and carefully underpinning was required to protect the neighbouring buildings.
