Modia Consulting were appointed by the board of Realt na Mara primary school to provide full pre and post contract quantity surveying functions. Modia Consulting initially provided a cost plan and once this was accepted the design and specification was finalised. Modia Consulting then measured a full bill of quantities and this was uploaded to Etenders along with the rest of the tender documents. A tender report was then produced and a contractor appointed. Once the project commenced on site Modia Consulting carried out site inspections, issued cost reports and payment certificated and ultimately agreed the final account.

Project Details: The project consisted of the construction of three new special education tuition rooms arranged in a new stand alone building on the existing school campus. The build was modern and colourful befitting its setting and intended use.
